Specifications
Beautiful swedish wooden boat, built in the 60's and restored around 2000. Definitely needs attention and maintenance. Currently the engine is broken. When launched in April the engine did work. In addition to the engine problems, last winter wood rot was found in the wood inside and removed as far as possible. However, it is not possible to determine whether everything is removed because it is near the engine block which is difficult to reach.
History of the boat: The boat was made in Sweden around 1960. It was restored around 2000 including a new diesel engine. There is also a hydraulic steering put in. The engine is indirectly cooled by coolant through tubes that run along the outside of the boat. Last winter the boat was painted and the underwater part was antifouled.
When was the boat last out of the water for maintenance: winter 2021/2022
Last time antifouling treatment: March 2022
Known defects: Diesel engine does not work, it did when launched in April. There is wood affected by wood rot. As far as possible this wood has been removed, however this is not possible at and under the engine. There are small leaks as you might expect from an (old) wooden boat, it was made around 1960 in Sweden.
