An auction may have special conditions. These are additional terms that are described in the auction and also apply. Often, this is a document that is added to the lot. Always read these conditions carefully to avoid any surprises later on.
We ensure that your boat gets maximum visibility by advertising it on leading boat sales websites in Europe. You only pay startup costs, which depend on the length of your boat:
- Up to 5 meters → € 100
- 5 to 10 meters → € 200
- 10 to 15 meters → € 300
- Over 15 meters → € 500
There are no hidden costs. Together, we ensure a quick and successful sale!
Subject to award means that the selling party can decide whether to accept the highest bid after the auction ends. The sale is then awarded. If the sale is not awarded, the purchase will not proceed.
The auction fees are added to the bid amount. You can view these fees on the lot page. In the bidding information, you will find the 'View Bid' button. By clicking on this, you will get an overview of the bid and the associated costs. The amount of the auction fees depends on the starting price of the auction:
Starting Price
€ 0 - € 25,000 → 18% auction fees
€ 25,000 - € 100,000 → 12% auction fees
From € 100,000 → 8% auction fees
If a bid is placed in the last 5 minutes before the closing time of an auction, the closing time will be extended by 5 minutes. This gives other bidders extra time to place a higher bid. If no more bids are placed during these minutes, the auction will close. Don't be late and bid on time!
Congratulations! You are the lucky owner of the lot that has been awarded to you. The lot must be picked up within 14 days after the award. Deviating from this period is only possible in consultation with Boatauction.com and the seller. Is this unfortunately not possible? Then please contact us via [email protected].
Note: Different pickup times apply for municipal auctions, as stated with the lot. These cannot be deviated from.
