The Freya is a beautifully restored classic sailboat of the brand Stella. With a length of 800 cm and a width of 245 cm, this boat offers plenty of space and comfort. The boat was built in 1964 by the yard Van Swaay, with construction number 84, and designed by Tucker Brown.
The hull shape of the boat is an s-frame, which provides excellent sailing characteristics and stability even in windy conditions. Steering is by tiller, which is located outside. The boat has a single rudder and weighs about 2500 kg.
Accommodation on board is equipped with mattresses and pillows. Two permanent berths and two additional berths are available. The headroom inside is 160 cm. There is no hot water on board, and the toilet is manually operated. The toilet drains directly into the open water.
The boat is equipped with a working Bukh diesel engine with an output of 18 hp. The engine is electrically started and has a maximum speed of 14 mph. There is one engine, with two cylinders, and it runs on diesel fuel. The engine has been completely overhauled, and gauges such as an oil pressure gauge and temperature gauge are present. The fuel tank has a capacity of 40 liters, and consumption is about 1.5 liters per hour.
