The koggeschip of the brand Zeeschouw is a flat-bottomed boat built in 1968. The boat has a length of 8.7 meters, a width of 2.96 meters, a draft of 65 cm and a headroom of 1.2 meters. The boat is made of steel and offers fixed berths for three people, with room for two additional berths. Inside, headroom is 1.79 meters.
The documentation consists of a contract of sale. The condition of the boat is good, with some minor defects. The boat was taken out of the water last winter for maintenance and the last antifouling treatment was three years ago. A known defect is the starter battery, which discharged last winter and needs to be replaced. Despite this, the engine still starts.
Built by Krom at Westzaan and designed by Kroes at Kampen, the hull of the boat has a flat bottom. Steering is outside with a tiller and the rudder is single.
The accommodation is simply but effectively equipped, with a dining area, pillows, mattresses, curtains and a stove. There is a foot pump for water that always works. The bathroom has a chemical toilet. There used to be a toilet with passages to the hull, but for ecological and safety reasons an internal solution was chosen. There is no hot water and the water tank has a capacity of 50 liters. The toilet drain does not enter the open water directly.
The boat's engine, a 1994 Bukh DV24 with 25 hp and two cylinders, is working. The start is electric and the maximum speed is 10 km/h. The consumption of the diesel engine is low and the diesel tank has a capacity of 30 liters. The engine charges the batteries via an alternator. There are two batteries and the measuring instruments include a dipstick for measuring the diesel tank.
In terms of navigation, the boat has a Sailor Compact VHF radio. The boat has one wooden mast and three sails: a mainsail and two jibs. The mainsail can be reefed in the classic way. There is a tarpaulin that can be placed over the entire cockpit. The anchor is attached with chain and line and has a manual anchor winch. The boat also has an electric bilge pump for safety.
This beautiful boat is being sold due to a move abroad.
