The DRACO is a well-maintained retro speedboat with a charming appearance. It is an 1800 Suntop model of the DRACO brand, built in 1983 by Draco Norway. The boat has a length of 600 centimeters, a width of 210 centimeters and a draft of 90 centimeters. With a headroom of 135 centimeters, the boat is suitable for sailing under low bridges.
The DRACO's hull is made of polyester, which offers durability and lightness. The boat is registered with the RDW under the registration number 7-YD-575. There are no mortgages, encumbrances or other encumbrances on the boat.
Accommodations aboard the DRACO include comfortable cushions and a number of convenient amenities. There are two swivel cockpit seats and a spacious round seat with a removable cockpit table. A sun deck with a fixed swim ladder and a small swim platform offers the opportunity to enjoy the sun and water. A fixed radio with amplifier and integrated speakers provides onboard entertainment. There is also a lockable glove box for storing valuables. The boat has no fixed berths.
The DRACO is powered by a working Mercury Z-drive engine with an output of 140 hp / 103 kW. The engine is electrically started and has four cylinders. The year of construction of the engine is also 1983, but the number of running hours is unknown. The fuel tank has a capacity of 100 liters. Gauges such as a fuel tank gauge, tachometer, temperature gauge and oil pressure gauge are present on the dashboard. Although the trim gauge does not work, new trim sensors have been installed on the tailpiece. The tailpiece was overhauled and refitted in 2020. The boat does not have a bow thruster or stern thruster.
In terms of electricity, the DRACO has a new battery installed in 2021. The boat is equipped with 12-volt electricity. Navigation lights were renewed in 2021.
As for equipment on the outside of the boat, there is an anchor with chain and line, but no windlass. Several accessories are available, including a spray hood, cockpit tent, tarp, swim ladder, cockpit table, bimini, swim platform, fenders and lines. A completely new tubular frame and hood was installed in 2022, along with a new winter hood.
