Rescue Sloop 500 – Classic Sloop for Relaxed Boating Trips
The Rescue Sloop 500 is a characterful and robust sloop with a length of 5 meters and a width of 1.60 meters. This sloop is made of polyester, a material known for its durability and low-maintenance properties. With a draft of only 40 centimeters, this vessel is extremely suitable for shallow waters, such as canals, ditches, and lakes. The Rescue Sloop 500 offers an authentic boating experience and is an excellent choice for enthusiasts of leisurely boating on inland waters.
Rescue Sloop 500 now in the online auction. Everyone can bid until March 9, 2026.
Timeless Design with Practical Features
The Rescue Sloop 500 is based on the design of traditional rescue sloops, which ensures a timeless appearance and solid construction. The hull is wide and stable, contributing to a comfortable position in the water. Thanks to the attached rudder, the sloop is easy to steer from the external control, providing a direct and intuitive boating experience. The open cockpit offers enough space for multiple passengers, making this sloop ideal for day trips with family or friends.
Although the sloop is currently not equipped with a motor, the design offers enough space and possibilities to install an outboard motor. This makes it possible to customize the sloop to your liking and make it suitable for different sailing speeds and applications. The absence of a motor makes the sloop particularly suitable for use with oars or as a quiet, environmentally friendly option on calm waters.
Versatile Use on Various Inland Waters
The Rescue Sloop 500 has been used in the past on various inland waters, including canals, lakes, ponds, and rivers. Thanks to its compact dimensions and shallow draft, the sloop is maneuverable and easy to handle, even in narrow or busy waterways. This makes the vessel attractive to both novice and experienced water sports enthusiasts looking for a practical and accessible sloop for recreational use.
Whether it's a relaxing day of boating with the family, a picnic on the water, or a quiet trip through nature, this sloop provides a solid foundation for a variety of boating activities. The open layout makes it easy to create seating or add extra storage space, depending on the user's personal preferences.
Simple Base with Room for Personalization
The Rescue Sloop 500 is offered in a functional state and provides an excellent base for those looking for a sloop that can be arranged or customized according to their own insights. The absence of documentation and motorization offers room for customization and personal input. For those who are handy or like to take on a project themselves, this sloop forms an interesting starting point to realize their own boating concept.
The sloop is delivered without a trailer, but due to its size, it is easy to transport with a suitable boat trailer. This makes it possible to launch and use the sloop in various boating areas.
In Summary
The Rescue Sloop 500 is a classically designed polyester sloop with stable sailing characteristics and a practical layout. Thanks to its robust design and versatile usability, this vessel is suitable for various recreational purposes on inland waters. The sloop offers room for personalization and is an attractive entry-level model for those looking for a characterful boat with potential.
