Cabin Sailboat 900 – Steel Sailboat for Inland Waters and Recreational Use
This Cabin Sailboat 900 is a steel sailboat with a length of 9 meters and a width of 2.20 meters. The boat is designed for use on inland waters such as canals, ditches, lakes, ponds, and rivers. Thanks to the shallow draft of 75 cm, this sailboat is suitable for shallower waters, significantly expanding the sailing possibilities. The boat is equipped with a mast and a mainsail, allowing it to be sailed both by motor (operation unknown) and under sail.
Construction and Material
The hull of this cabin sailboat is made of steel, a material known for its robustness and durability. Steel sailboats are often chosen for their solid construction and the ability to make modifications or perform maintenance relatively easily. The steel hull provides a stable base, contributing to comfort while sailing, especially on inland waters where wave action is limited.
Dimensions and Design
With a length of 9 meters, this cabin sailboat offers ample space for multiple passengers. The width of 2.20 meters ensures a sleek silhouette, which is advantageous for maneuvering in narrower waterways such as canals and ditches. The draft of 75 cm allows for navigation in shallower areas, making the boat suitable for a wide range of sailing areas within and beyond the Netherlands.
Sailing Equipment
The boat is equipped with a mast and a mainsail. The operation and condition are unknown.
Interior and Usage Possibilities
The interior needs thorough attention, and the inventory must be properly cleared and disposed of by the buyer.
Maintenance and Condition
No recent information is available on when the boat was last taken out of the water or when the last antifouling treatment was performed.
Additional Information
No dinghy or trailer is included with this cabin sailboat. This means that land transport or reaching difficult-to-access mooring places requires extra planning. However, the boat is designed for use on inland waters.
Summary
The Cabin Sailboat 900 is a steel sailboat with a functional design for recreational use on inland waters. With a length of 9 meters, a shallow draft, and sailing equipment, this boat is suitable for a variety of sailing activities, from sporty sailing to relaxing day trips. The boat offers opportunities for those looking for a sailboat with a steel hull and a practical layout for short stays on board. Interested parties are advised to seek additional information about the maintenance history and technical condition of the boat.
