Specifications
This Timber Tiger 300 is a compact open boat with a length of 3.00 meters and a width of 1.19 meters. The boat is made of aluminum, a material known for its light weight and corrosion resistance. Thanks to these properties, the boat is suitable for various applications on inland waters, such as lakes, rivers, and canals. The shallow draft of only 20 cm allows it to navigate shallow waters, making the boat versatile in different conditions.
Construction and Design
The hull of the Timber Tiger 300 is entirely made of aluminum. This material offers advantages in terms of maintenance and durability. Aluminum boats are generally less prone to damage from bumps or scratches compared to boats made of polyester or wood. Moreover, aluminum is highly resistant to rust formation, which benefits the boat's lifespan, especially when used in freshwater.
The boat is equipped with three fixed benches, placed across the width of the boat. These benches provide seating for multiple passengers and can also serve as storage, depending on the configuration. The open layout of the boat allows for flexible use of space, for example, for recreational boating, fishing, or as a tender.
Dimensions and Weight
With a length of 3.00 meters and a width of 1.19 meters, the Timber Tiger 300 is a manageable boat that is easy to transport on a trailer or even on the roof of a larger car, depending on the weight. The small dimensions make it possible to launch the boat on smaller slipways or via a dock. The draft of 20 cm ensures that the boat is also well-suited for shallow areas, which is useful when docking at natural shores or navigating marshy areas.
Usage Possibilities
The Timber Tiger 300 is suitable for a variety of purposes. Due to its compact size and open layout, the boat is particularly suitable for recreational use on calm inland waters. This includes short trips, exploring natural areas, or using it as a fishing boat. The three benches provide ample space for multiple people, depending on the boat's maximum carrying capacity.
Additional Information
No year of construction is provided for this Timber Tiger 300, meaning the exact age of the boat is unknown.
