The Wamandai 3 is an Amsterdam-type tugboat, built in 1945 at the Overtoom shipyard. With a length of 1640 cm, a width of 430 cm and a draft of 170 cm, this boat offers a spacious and stable experience on the water. Steering is via a hydraulic steering wheel in the wheelhouse, and the rudder is single and provides precise control. The history of the tug: The Amsterdammer was commissioned in 1939. Hidden from the Germans witnessed first name after launching in 1945 "Narrow Escape". In service with city cleaning Amsterdam with name SR12. Engine was a Kromhout crude oil engine of 80 hp. In 1952 the tug was taken over by NDSM, in connection with the new port tasks there is a new engine. placed a Kromhout 3F240 with 165 hp. In 1980 the tug was decommissioned. After that the Amsterdamer had several owners for both corporate and pleasure cruising. As of September 2023, it is no longer a commercial vessel.
