The MV Marine Mito 31 by Pischel is a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) from 2021, built by the Italian shipyard MV Marine S.R.L. and designed by Pischel. This boat combines sporty performance with a functional design and is suitable for various sailing conditions, from inland waters to coastal areas. With a length of 9.35 meters and a width of 3.20 meters, the Mito 31 offers space and stability, while the shallow draft of 0.40 meters allows it to navigate in shallower waters.
The hull of the Mito 31 features a stepped V-shape, contributing to efficient water displacement and improved performance at higher speeds. This hull shape ensures less resistance and a more stable ride, even in rougher conditions. The boat is equipped with an extra reinforced hull, specifically designed to be towed over longer distances behind a (mega) yacht. Two additional towing eyes are integrated into the design to allow for a safe and stable attachment during towing.
The Mito 31 is equipped with two powerful Mercury F450R V8 outboard engines, each with a power of 450 hp. These engines are electrically started and run on gasoline. With only 58 operating hours per engine, usage is relatively limited. The combination of engine power and the streamlined hull design allows for a top speed of approximately 133 km/h, making this RIB one of the fastest in its class. The fuel tank has a capacity of 535 liters, providing a generous range.
Onboard, there is high-quality Furuno navigation equipment, including GPS, chart plotter, AIS, VHF radio, compass, and log/speedometer. The Furuno systems are known for their accuracy and reliability in the maritime sector. The depth sounder is an Airmar P66 dual-beam, integrated into the Furuno system. The boat features a 12V and 220V electrical system, with amenities such as a battery charger, inverter, and shore power connection.
The Mito 31 offers sleeping accommodation for two people and has a standing height of 1.70 meters in the interior. The accommodation is equipped with an electric toilet with a waste tank (60 liters), a shower, refrigerator, stove, and mattresses. The water tank has a capacity of 180 liters. The toilet discharge is connected to a waste tank and does not go directly into open water.
The cockpit is fitted with flexi-teak, a low-maintenance and weather-resistant alternative to traditional teak. This material is resistant to UV radiation, saltwater, and wear. The exterior equipment includes a bimini, outdoor deck cushions, cockpit table, electric anchor winch with chain, swim ladder, and a self-draining cockpit. A swim platform at the rear facilitates getting in and out of the water. No dinghy or trailer is included with this boat.
The MV Marine Mito 31 has been used at sea and is suitable for various purposes such as day trips, pleasure cruising, sporty sailing, and vacations. Thanks to the combination of speed, stability, and comfort, this RIB is suitable for both recreational use and as a tender for larger yachts.
This RIB offers a combination of speed, functionality, and comfort, and is designed for water sports enthusiasts looking for a versatile and performance-oriented boat.
