This mahogany wooden sloop has been completely restored in the last 4 months. The bottom has been renewed with a composite material (fiberglass/Epoxy), parts of the strakes have been replaced and also covered with composite, several rafters have been replaced, some floors have been renewed. The bilge has been painted, the engine has received a new wire harness plug, an electronically controlled fuel pump has been installed so that the engine always gets gasoline despite the fuel level in the tank. A new burlap rope has been installed all around, so maintenance is minimal for the foreseeable future.
Underneath the boat hangs a handmade bronze rudder, as well as a handmade stern tube (stainless steel) with a grease lubricated propeller shaft (stainless steel) which is connected to a bronze propeller. In one of the photos you can also see the handmade stainless steel heel under the propeller, which protects against jamming. In early 2021 the hull was antifouled and the entire interior was repainted.
The 1-cylinder Wickström engine is in good condition and equipped with a starter dynamo that allows the engine to be started by the turn of a key. The engine has received electronic ignition and a major overhaul. The boat sails on gasoline without any additives, therefore it may also sail in certain environmental zones. This boat makes the familiar "plok" sound and is a picture to see. Included in the sale is a road trailer with lighting bar, a tarpaulin that fits over the seating area and a winter tarpaulin. Included in the sale are: various maintenance items, ten cushions, anchor with line, fenders and lines, pickaxe and 2 paddles.
