Specifications
The Draco 3000 Saloon is a Norwegian quality ship. This model, the 3100 Saloon, is unique. There are only a few of these in the Netherlands. The superstructure runs across almost the entire hull. Therefore there is a lot of space inside. But also the so-called Sunbridge has a lot of space, because it runs over the entire superstructure. The boat certainly needs some attention. The deck needs to be refurbished. Also, the superstructure and the upper deck need to be painted. There is leakage of rainwater in 2 places. Inside, especially the wall covering needs some attention. The following things have been done in the last three years:
- Hull is painted with IJssel 2-component varnish
- The upper deck is pretreated
- Drinking water pump is renewed
- Teleflex cables to the tail sections (propulsion) have been replaced
- Starboard engine starter is overhauled
- Bellows (Rubber band) of tail sections replaced
- Anti fouling applied
- Batteries replaced
- Shore power connection renewed
- New access hatch made and placed
With some dedication and attention it is possible to make a beautiful ship again.
