Specifications
The "Pagadder" is a classic sailboat with the brand "Friendship" and the specific model "Friendship 22". With a length of 7.00 meters, a width of 2.50 meters and a draft of 1.10 meters, this boat offers enough space and stability for comfortable sailing and staying on board.
Built in 1979 by the renowned yard "Meijer Balk" and designed by Jack de Ridder, the "Pagadder" has a traditional round bilge hull shape and is steered with a tiller from the outside. The single rudder construction ensures maneuverability and precision while sailing. Weighing 1300 kg, this boat is well balanced and responds smoothly to steering instructions.
Inside, the accommodation offers everything you need for an enjoyable time on the water. The boat has comfortable cushions, a stove, curtains and mattresses, making it ideal for overnight stays. Four permanent berths are available, and the kitchen can be slid under the cockpit bench to create additional cabin space. The water tank has a capacity of 90 liters, and there is a manual toilet on board for your convenience.
The boat is powered by a well-maintained Honda BF 8 LHSU engine rated at 8 hp, equipped with an electric start. The engine is well maintained and has a tank capacity of 12 liters, which is sufficient for your travels. Electronic navigation aids are provided, including a compass, log speedometer, VHF and depth sounder, to safely guide your voyages.
The rigging of the "Pagadder" consists of one aluminum mast and five sails, including a genoa, mainsail, jib and spinnaker. The sails are rated as adequate and will allow you to sail smoothly.
Exterior equipment includes an anchor with chain and line, a manual windlass, sea railing, pulpit and stern chairs, fenders and lines, and a swim ladder for refreshing dives during your stops.
Safety comes first, with a fire extinguisher, life buoy and self-draining cockpit for added peace of mind.
The "Pagadder" is in good condition, regularly maintained and received antifouling treatment on May 4, 2023 and launched on June 17. There are no signs of osmosis. The current owner bought it from the previous owner who owned it for 44 years. The current owner is enthusiastic about sailing but wants a larger boat for his family.
This boat is ideal for pleasure cruising, vacations or just a relaxing day on the water. It is a faithful companion for those looking for a reliable sailboat to create memories and adventures on the water.
