Off the wind the ship has a smooth course, even with a large wind it goes well, but to the wind the ship behaves somewhat windward and is pushed by the wind off course. Overstaying is no problem, even in light wind it is easy to lead. The Friendship is best used on spacious inland water. The boat is also ideal for overnight trips.
