The "Rantanplan" is a charming sailboat built by Gilbert Marine, with the Gib Sea 312 model from the year 1989. With a length of 9.50 meters and a width of 3.30 meters, this boat offers enough space for comfortable cruising and relaxing on board.
The boat's interior is designed for up to four permanent berths, with an additional two berths available when the salon is converted to a berth. The cabins offer privacy and comfort, while the interior is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. You will find an oven, a refrigerator, curtains, mattresses, a separate dining area and a stove. Cozy cushions and an attractive interior make it an inviting place to relax.
The boat has a spacious stainless steel water tank with a capacity of 140 liters, ensuring adequate water supply during your travels. For climate control, a Webasto heating system (installed in 2016) and electric heating are available. The kitchen is equipped with a gas oven and a 2-burner stove, ideal for preparing meals on board.
Entertainment is assured on board with a radio CD player, two speakers and Bluetooth connectivity. Sanitary facilities include a marine toilet (Plastimo) and a sink with shower. In addition, there is a sprayhood and cockpit protection tent for protection from the elements.
The boat is powered by a diesel-powered Yanmar 2GM20 engine with 18 HP. The maximum speed range is about 12 mph. The boat is equipped with the necessary gauges, including a fuel tank gauge, tachometer, log speedo and sounder. For navigation, a compass, depth gauge, autopilot, VHF radio, wind meter and log speedometer are available.
As for the sailing part, the "Rantanplan" has an aluminum mast and three sails, of which the mainsail was renewed in 2020 and is in good condition. Lazy jackets and a furling genoa with UV strip make for easy sailing.
On deck you will find a chain anchor and a manual windlass, as well as deck equipment such as a sprayhood, swim ladder, cockpit table, swim platform, fenders and lines.
Safety is a priority on board, with amenities such as a life buoy, fire extinguisher and a self-bailing cockpit. Manual bilge pumps are available for water drainage.
Although the boat is in sailing condition, it should be noted that it is over 30 years old, and there are some minor flaws, mainly related to the interior. It is recommended that the interior trim be replaced to keep the boat in optimal condition.
