Specifications
The "Farwin" is a 1978 Bucaneer 295 model and has a length of 9.00 meters and a width of 3.12 meters. The boat has a polyester hull and weighs about 3,200 kilograms. It has a single rudder and is steered with a helmet from the outside of the boat.
The boat's accommodation includes pillows, mattresses and a refrigerator. There is no hot water available and the toilet is manually operated. The toilet drains directly into the open water. There is no heating or air conditioning available.
The boat is powered by a single MD6a engine and has a fuel tank gauge. Two 12V batteries are available for electricity. Navigation instruments include a chart plotter, log speed meter and GPS. The boat also has an anchor with chain line and a manual anchor winch.

Engine unfortunately not overhauled since purchase 3 years ago, as it needs oil change, possible descaling. Currently a problem with electrics, which also needs to be fixed (charging unit). Replaced seacock for cooling circuit as old one would not close, resealed cap for thermostat with glue steel as it was almost rusted through in one place. (known problem with the MD7)
The boat has some known defects, including a broken overhead light, voltage converter fuse and windows that need to be sealed. It has some flaws, but still has potential for a technically gifted owner. The boat is registered at the Dutch Land Registry and VAT has been paid.
