The boat type originates from England and derived from the Thames skiff. The year of construction of the boat is around 1930 and in 1975 she was purchased by the current owner from the Royal Rowing and Sailing Association "de Maas" in Rotterdam. The boat is called the 'Zwaluw' and has a length of 6.50m and width of about 0.95m.
