The boat is fine for use as a tugboat, but can also serve as a workboat. Because of the boat's own weight (approx. 23 tons) the boat is very stable on the water, so that the boat is hardly affected by gusts of wind and therefore can lie still on the water. The boat has the ability to rotate almost on its own axis which makes manoeuvring in narrow water easy.
The motor is cooled with an open cooling system, next to the motor in the technical room there is also a water pump which can be driven by means of V-belts. The professional water pump has a capacity of 1000 liters per hour, the pump can be equipped with fire hoses. Few revs are needed to give the ship speed, which makes her economical (14 km per hour at 1200 RPM).
The boat is equipped with 2 fuel tanks of 200 liters each (total 400 liters of diesel). The ship has been on the shore for the last time in 2017 for maintenance on underwater hull. The paint layer of the surface water is in decent condition. Other maintenance: New wiring for the on-board lighting, radio and interior lighting has been pulled, it still needs to be connected to a control panel.
