Beautiful classic sharp sailing yacht: Meteor. Meteor is a steel round bilge with a mahogany wooden superstructure and cockpit. The wooden mast is hollow (2013). Sails older, but in good condition (mainsail, genoa and jib). The engine is an inboard Sole mini diesel of 9 hp. The ship is except for some details still original and in very good condition. Hull and superstructure are in 2-component paint. Meteoor is a design of L. Stelwagen (NL), welded in the region of Rotterdam and finished by himself in 1950 in Grouw. The boat has fantastic sailing qualities and is fast (for her class) and easy to trim. The ship is a member of the VKSJ. With the long box keel she has little draft (about 90 cm), which gives her a large sailing area. The interior is attractive (upholstery and cushions 2012). The cabin benches are easy to convert into a large double bed. The cockpit is comfortable and has a convenient cockpit tent (2018). By means of a sprenkel the mast is convenient to lower and set yourself. The boat is sold with complete standard inventory.
The boat was last out of the water for maintenance in Oct. 2021. Last time antifouling treatment was in Apr. 2021.
