Specifications
Cabin Boat 650 – Polyester Canal Boat with Outboard Motor
General Characteristics of the Cabin Boat 650
The Cabin Boat 650 is a polyester motorboat with a length of 6.50 meters and a width of 2.00 meters. The draft is 75 centimeters, making this boat suitable for use on shallower inland waters such as canals, ditches, lakes, and rivers. The boat is not registered, and the year of construction is unknown. It is equipped with an outboard motor that runs on gasoline, but the operation of this motor has not been determined at this time.
Construction and Material Use
The hull of the Cabin Boat 650 is made of polyester, a commonly used material in recreational boating due to its relatively low maintenance requirements and light weight. Polyester boats are generally resistant to water and sunlight, provided maintenance is performed regularly. In this case, there is overdue maintenance, which may affect the condition of the hull, deck, and other structural parts of the boat.
Interior and Layout
The Cabin Boat 650 features a cabin, providing extra shelter while sailing. The exact layout of the interior is not specified, but boats of this type and size are typically equipped with a small seating area or sleeping accommodation in the cabin. The boat is designed for day trips and recreational boating, meaning the comfort level is tailored for short stays on board.
Motorization and Propulsion
The boat is equipped with a single outboard motor that runs on gasoline. The brand and type of the motor are unknown. The current condition of the motor has not been tested or confirmed, making its operation uncertain. This is an important consideration for potential buyers, as the motor is an essential component of the boat's sailing characteristics. An inspection or replacement of the motor may be necessary to make the boat ready for sailing again.
Maintenance and Technical Condition
There is overdue maintenance on the Cabin Boat 650. There is no information available about the last time the boat was taken out of the water for maintenance or when the last antifouling treatment was performed. This may affect the condition of the underwater hull and the overall performance of the boat. Potential buyers are advised to conduct a thorough inspection on the viewing day.
Usage and Sailing Area
The boat has been used in the past for recreational sailing on inland waters, including canals, ditches, lakes, and rivers. This type of sailing area requires a boat with limited draft and maneuverability, characteristics that the Cabin Boat 650 inherently offers. The boat is suitable for day trips and short voyages, where comfort and shelter in the cabin can play a role.
Summary
The Cabin Boat 650 is a polyester motorboat with a cabin, designed for use on inland waters. The boat is equipped with a gasoline outboard motor, whose operation is currently unknown. There is overdue maintenance, and no recent maintenance data is available. This boat may be of interest to buyers looking for a project boat or a vessel that can be refurbished and customized according to their own preferences. A technical inspection is recommended to assess the condition of the boat and motor.
