The Beenhakker 740 is a steel motorboat 7.4 meters long and 2.1 meters wide with a draft of 50 cm. The year of construction is unknown, but is estimated to be around 1980. The boat is in a state with many defects and requires maintenance, especially painting. She is technically ready to sail, and the engine (a VETUS m3.10 with 20 hp) is working, although there is currently no starter battery.
The interior offers no fixed or additional berths. The interior height is 1.80 meters. The hull is articulated, and steering is by tiller. Exterior equipment includes two anchors with chain and line, fenders and lines, and a swim ladder. For safety, an electric bilge pump is provided.
