The Spirit 28, designed by Van der Stadt, is a classic 1975 polyester sailboat with excellent sailing characteristics, suitable for both inland waters and open seas. The boat has a length of 8.5 meters, a width of 2.81 meters and a draft of 1.42 meters. This boat offers space for up to six berths and an interior height of 1.90 meters, providing comfort for longer trips.
Currently, the Spirit 28 is in project condition, with the hull already painted and the deck primed. The boat is completely stripped, but comes with all the necessary fittings, including new deck organizers and halyard stoppers. The sails, consisting of a mainsail and genoa in laminate, are in excellent condition, as is the 13 hp Volvo Penta engine from 2013 with only 60 running hours.
This boat is ideal for someone looking for a project to complete. When completed, the Spirit 28 offers a great combination of speed and safety. This boat is perfect for sporting trips or relaxing vacations on the water.
The mast, boom, spinnaker boom and standing rigging was replaced in 2012 and only sailed 4 seasons with this.
