The Kyudo 820 is a well-maintained sailboat built in 1979 by Chantier Naval du Sud-Ouest (CNSO) to the design of Michel Bigoin. This sailboat is perfect for leisure and vacation enthusiasts, with a robust polyester construction and a v-bottom hull shape, making it stable and sturdy in the water.
With a length of 8.20 meters and a width of 2.96 meters, the boat offers comfortable accommodation for 4 permanent berths and an additional berth. On board there is a cozy dining area, a manual toilet and a well-equipped galley with an oven and refrigerator. Although the boat has no hot water, the living area is cozy and equipped with curtains and cushions for added comfort.
The 21-hp Nanni Diesel engine (replaced in 2005) has been maintained and provides good propulsion. Electronics include a GPS, depth sounder, compass and autopilot, although the VHF radio is in need of replacement. The boat has a headsail furling system and has 6 sails in good condition, including a mainsail, genoa, storm jib and spinnaker.
The Kyudo is equipped with additional safety elements such as lifebuoys, fire extinguishers and a 12V portable bilge pump that is not built-in. For outdoor activities, a Zodiac dinghy is available, along with swim ladder, spray hood and cockpit tent.
Despite the need for an osmosis treatment, the Kyudo 820 remains a strong and seaworthy sailboat that sails high to the wind and is perfect for adventure cruising.
