The Kolibri 900 is a robust and versatile sailboat with a length of 9 meters and a width of 3 meters. Originally manufactured by the Kolibri yard, this woodcore-epoxy-built boat has a draft of 1.70 meters and a headroom of 1.26 meters. Although the exact construction date is unknown, the boat was thoroughly refurbished in 2021 after damage to the hull from the mast going overboard. Repair included painting and replacements of the sea railings and windows. The boat is currently in good condition with some minor flaws; the mast and rudder blade are missing, although a mast is present and has yet to be modified.
Inside, the Kolibri 900 offers berths for four and a manual toilet with direct discharge to the open water. Outside steering is by tiller. The boat is equipped with a 17 hp Solé M141 diesel engine, various gauges and navigation equipment such as a log speed meter, compass and depth gauge. Outside, the boat has a side railing and swim ladder. The Kolibri 900 is suitable for pleasure cruising, vacations, day trips and weekend trips and has proven to have excellent sailing characteristics. The engine has not been used since 2021, and the boat is currently on shore.
