The Regent 37+3 is a 1979 polyester one-off sailing yacht with a length of 11.20 meters, a beam of 3.12 meters and a draft of 1.95 meters. The yacht offers berths for five people fixed and three additional berths. The headroom inside is 1.85 meters.
The boat has been in a heated shed for 18 years and the last antifouling treatment dates from 20 years ago. Osmosis treatment and painting were done around 1995. Known defects include the engines and water tanks.
The yacht has an s-spant hull shape and is steered outside with a steering wheel. The rudder is single and the total weight of the boat is about 10,000 kg. Accommodation includes a dining area, cushions, a shower, a refrigerator, mattresses, curtains and a stove. There are also three staterooms: an aft cabin, a main cabin and a forward cabin. Hot water is available, as well as a 300-liter water tank and a 60-liter holding tank. The toilet is manual and the drain does not discharge directly into the open water. For heating, there is a hot-air system.
The engine, a 1982 Mercedes diesel engine with 55 hp and four cylinders, is currently inoperative. The starting type is electric and the fuel tank has a capacity of 600 liters. There are several gauges present such as a fuel tank gauge, oil pressure gauge, tachometer and temperature gauge, although it is unknown if they all work. In addition, the boat has an electric bow thruster, a 12-volt system and a generator.
In terms of electronics and navigation, shore power, a battery charger and a voltmeter are available, but there are no batteries. The navigation system consists of an autopilot and compass, and the voltage is 12V.
The boat's rigging consists of two aluminum masts and five sails, the condition of which is fair. The sails include a mainsail, storm jib, mizzen and jib, and a genoa reefing system is present.
A manual windlass and chain anchor are present on the outside of the boat. Other equipment includes a spray hood, pulpit and stern chairs, fenders and lines, a sea railing, swim ladder and teak deck.
For safety, the boat has a self-draining cockpit and a manual bilge pump.
