The "Feronia" is a Van de Stadt 50, built in 1987, with a length of 1500 centimeters, a width of 460 centimeters and a draft of 230 centimeters. This sailboat, with a V-bottom hull shape, was designed by Henk Fridsma and is registered with the Dutch Land Registry under registration number 6582 B G 1993.
The the boat is currently in a state with many defects and requires a complete refit. The sailboat was last out of the water for maintenance in 2022 and had an antifouling treatment in 2023.
The boat's accommodation is currently completely dismantled and in need of refitting.
The Feronia is powered by a working 100-hp Ford Lehman diesel engine, with a maximum speed of 10 kilometers. The engine has 1500 running hours and is supported by a new starter motor and alternator. The engine has had recent major maintenance and is powered by a 250-liter fuel tank.
Electricity is supplied through an alternator and a single battery, with a Kohler generator for additional power. Rigging includes an aluminum mast and 5 sails in reasonably good condition: mainsail, jib, genoa, spinnaker and gennaker, with a furling system for the headsail and a reefing system for the genoa.
Outside, the boat is equipped with an anchor, sea railing, fenders and lines, and a teak deck.
