Specifications
The Silver Yacht 655 Tender is a polyester sloop from 2023 characterized by a spacious design and a modern appearance. With a length of 6.55 meters and a width of 2.30 meters, this tender offers ample space for multiple passengers, making it ideal for leisurely trips on inland waters, canals, and rivers. Thanks to its thoughtful construction and equipment, the boat is suitable for various sailing conditions.
Construction and Design
The hull and deck of the Silver Yacht 655 are made of polyester, providing a solid and low-maintenance foundation. The boat has a low clearance height of 1.00 meter, making it extremely suitable for routes with bridges. The black colorfast rope fender and the centrally placed steering console contribute to a stylish and functional design. The boat meets the CE requirements for category C, indicating that it is suitable for coastal waters, large rivers, and lakes.
Comfort and Equipment
The Silver Yacht 655 is equipped with a spacious cockpit with comfortable seating and outdoor textiles that offer extra protection against the elements. The zippered canopy with stainless steel frame and roll-up windshield allow for both open and covered sailing. The boat features a bimini, tarpaulins, and a swim platform with a swim ladder, making it suitable for both recreational sailing and relaxation on the water.
Engine and Sailing Characteristics
The tender is powered by a Tohatsu MFS60 ETL outboard motor with a power of 60 hp. The engine, built in 2023, has four cylinders and is electrically started. The combination of this engine with the electric bow thruster in a 125 mm tunnel ensures precise maneuverability, which is a great advantage, especially in narrow waters. The fuel tank has a capacity of 50 liters, which is sufficient for longer trips without frequent refueling.
Safety and Ease of Operation
The steering is via a steering wheel, placed in the center of the boat, providing a good overview while sailing. The tender is equipped with sturdy stainless steel cleats and a stainless steel trailer eye at the front, making it easy to secure or transport. The anchor can be manually operated and is attached with an anchor line.
Usage and Maintenance
The boat was newly purchased in 2023 and mainly used on inland waters, canals, and lakes for recreational sailing and day trips. The bow thruster was installed in 2024. The boat is RDW-registered and VAT paid. All documentation is available.
