The Schottel vlet 13 is a nice little open boat with which you can sail nice trips. The boat is 3.60 meters long + a bowsprit of 0.6 meters makes that the boat has a total length of 4.20 meters. The rigging of the boat consists of an optimist sprit with an extra jib.
The Schottel vlet 13 was originally a jack-up vlet used on board of inland vessels and launched when the ship was in a harbour. Therefore Schottel vlet 13 has remained in this good condition. The boat is equipped with hardwood decks and oak swords. The boat was originally unsinkable due to two airboxes at the front and rear. However, these two closures have been removed to create storage space.
With two swords, sprit and jib the Schottel vlet 13 sails well. Because of the Icelandic name "Loki" the rudder head is executed in Viking style. The boat is also still provided with a pry opening in the stern.
NB the engine on the pictures is not part of the sale.
