Specifications
The Gillissen Dolman Vlet 38 is a beautiful classically built round ship and is in reasonable condition. The underwater ship is fine, it will be fully equipped in 2016. The paintwork of the superstructure of the boat is reasonable, there are some rust spots here and there that need attention. Moreover, the sliding roof needs to be replaced/repaired or welded shut. The carpentry of the boat is very neat from mahogany wood. However, some water damage is visible due to condensation on the walls in the steering cabin. The boat is fine from a motor point of view.
The Gillissen Dolman Vlet 38 is equipped with a very large open cockpit, where several people can easily sit outside on the benches mounted in the cockpit. The cockpit is equipped with a cockpit tent so that when the weather is bad it is still possible to sit outside comfortably. The boat is also equipped with a swimming platform which makes it easy to swim from the boat.
The boat is also equipped with shower and electric toilet, kitchen with 3 burner gas cooker, automatic boiler and fridge freezer. The cabin in the tip of the boat has two separate beds which can be converted to a spacious double bed. The pillows and curtains are in clean condition. In the wheelhouse there is a sofa which can be converted to an extra double bed.
