The Frans Maas Calypso 43 is a motorsailer designed and built by Frans Maas BV in Breskens in 1969. The polyester hull (thickness 2 to 3 cm) was made by Meissner in Germany. In 2004 an extensive refit was carried out: new deck, fiberglass + epoxy on plywood, new paint hull & deck and new engine. The interior refit is not fully completed. In the winter of 2019-2020 the boat was out of the water for the last time. April 2020 the boat has had its last anti-fouling treatment. The Frans Maas Calypso 43 is a well equipped boat in very good condition which is suitable for long (sea) voyages.
