Specifications
This boat offers a versatile experience on a variety of waters, ranging from calm inland waterways and lakes to lively ponds and rivers, and even open sea water. It is a boat that has been meticulously maintained and whose deep center cockpit provides safe and comfortable shelter.
In 2021, the boat was thoroughly refurbished with a full treatment on the underside. It was then sanded, putty, primed and an antifouling treatment was done twice. The history of the boat adds character, acquired from a former fisherman from Volendam who did not use the boat extensively.
The boat has been used extensively for pleasure cruising, vacations, day trips, weekend excursions and sporting activities. What makes this boat special is its robust sailing characteristics with a secure center cockpit. It stays well on course and offers ease in operating lines from the cockpit, as well as easy handling of the furling jib.
Although the boat has some minor flaws, it was last taken out of the water for maintenance in August 2023. There are no signs of osmosis. Some known defects include the scepter pots that need to be redone, possible repainting of the siding, a thorough inspection of the interior and attention to the teak deck that was treated with an anti-slip coating two years ago but needs another maintenance job. The boat is not registered but is registered with Telecom via VHF radio.
