The Van De Stadt Horizon is a classic sailing yacht with a length of 743 cm. Built in 1964 by the famous shipyard A.J. Van Heygen (Belgium). The hull of the boat is made of polyester. Both the polyester and the gel coat on both the outside and inside of the boat, is in good condition.
With a width of 232 cm, the Van De Stadt Horizon offers enough space for comfortable sailing and relaxing on the deck. The self-draining cockpit contributes to safety and functionality while sailing.
The boat's rigging consists of one aluminum mast and comes with two sets of sails: an original set and a newer set. The sails include a mainsail, storm jib and jib.
The interior of the boat is currently left largely bare and empty, giving the new owner the opportunity to furnish and finish the interior to their own liking. This flexibility offers a unique opportunity to put a personal stamp on the interior design of the boat.
The Van De Stadt Horizon comes with a reconditioned engine that has yet to be installed. The accompanying storage trailer, which is hydraulically operated and can be coupled behind a tractor, is in good condition and makes transporting and maintaining the boat convenient and efficient. As an extra, it also comes with a sturdy mobile staircase, which can be used to safely board and disembark.
Although the boat currently has many flaws, the Van De Stadt Horizon offers a lot of potential and possibilities for lovers of classic sailing yachts. With a little attention, care and creativity, this boat can be transformed into a beautiful sailing yacht, ready for adventures.
