The cabin offers room for 3 fixed berths and has a headroom of 200 cm. The Gillessen cabin sailboat is powered by a BMW D12 10 HP diesel engine and is equipped with an electric start. The engine has a tank capacity of 42 liters and two batteries. The "Platypus" has an aluminum mast and three sails : a mainsail, jib and spinnaker. The headsail is equipped with a furling system.The boat is equipped with a dinette, cushions, mattresses and curtains. The water tank has a capacity of 50 liters. The boat last underwent maintenance in 2021, including an antifouling treatment. There are some defects such as rusty spots on the deck. The current owner bought the "Platypus" during the COVID-19 pandemic with the intention of refurbishing the boat and sailing it a lot. The boat has even made the crossing to England in the past, attesting to its seaworthiness. The "Platypus" comes a tarpaulin for the winter and a coffee machine. `The "Platypus" sailboat can be used to sail on inland waterways, lakes or seas.
