Victoire 26 "Gam" - a solid and stable sailboat with a length of 7.75 meters. This Victoire 26 was built in 1976 by the Vader shipyard in Alkmaar, after a design by Koopmans. With its v-bottom hull shape and single rudder, this boat is very suitable for sailing adventures on inland waterways and lakes.
The boat has a polyester hull and is generally in good condition, with some minor flaws. The painting of the cabin superstructure could use some attention, but the hull was recently repainted. The boat was last out of the water for maintenance in 2022-2023, including an antifouling treatment to protect the hull.
Accommodation aboard the Victoire 26 is comfortable and suitable for small crews. Three permanent berths and two additional berths are available. Inside you will find a dining area, pillows, mattresses, curtains and a stove. There is no hot water on board, but there is a 50-liter water tank. The toilet is manually operated and the toilet drain does not go directly into the open water.
The boat is equipped with a working Sole Mini 3 diesel engine of 12 hp, built in 1978. The engine starts electrically and has an external fuel tank with a capacity of 20 liters. The maximum speed of the boat is about 11 kilometers. Electronics and navigation equipment include a GPS, depth gauge, compass and battery charger. Two batteries are provided: one for starting the engine and one for lighting.
The Victoire 26's rigging consists of one aluminum mast and three sails, including a mainsail, genoa and jib. The sails are in reasonable condition and should last a few more years. Outside, the boat is equipped with a spray hood, swim ladder, sea railing, fenders, lines and a cockpit tent. There are also two anchors with chain attachment on board.
As for safety, the boat is equipped with a fire extinguisher, a self-draining cockpit and life jackets. A manual bilge pump is available to remove any water from the boat.
