The boat "Laura" is a Compromis 720, produced by the yard Zaadnoordijk in 1975. With a length of 720 cm, width of 250 cm and a draft of 90 cm, this boat is ideal for use on ponds, rivers, lakes and other inland waters.
The boat is already almost 50 years old and has only the traces of use. However, these traces of use do not affect the boat's sailing characteristics. The current owner has owned the boat since 2016 and according to the previous owner, the current owner is the fourth owner. The boat has always been well maintained and has been on a derrick every winter, under a tarp on the shore.
The boat is mainly used for weekend outings and vacations. It is a good sailor with plenty of comfort in the accommodation, making it ideal for multi-day cruises. Due to the shallow draft, all Frisian lakes and most ditches between them can be sailed well. Moreover, the shallow draft offers the advantage of being able to anchor in quiet places.
The boat offers enough sleeping space for 4 people in the fixed berths and another 2 extra berths are available. The headroom inside is 180 cm.
Documentation such as a manual for trimming the mast and a manual for the gas stove are also included.
As for the condition of the boat, there are some minor defects, such as the non-connected navigation light and the non-working solar panel. The boat was last out of the water for maintenance in the winter of 2022-2023, and the antifouling treatment was last done in 2020.
