The Fisher Sloop 520 is a no-nonsense English-made boat designed for adventure cruising over rough waters. Although it is not necessary to use the boat on rough water, the sturdiness and reliability of the hull speaks for itself. With its very good cruising characteristics, this boat is extremely pleasant to sail. The high sides also make the boat suitable for taking small children, and a life jacket is included for added safety.
The original inboard motor has been replaced with an electric outboard motor of the ePropulsion brand. This provides a quiet ride, with enough power and battery capacity to cruise leisurely around town for about six hours. If you want a longer range, it is possible to purchase an additional battery.
The boat is equipped with a battery charger and one battery with a voltage of 48V. In addition, fenders, lines and a rubber bumper are provided for the outside of the boat. There is also an anchor with line attachment on board.
The Fisher Sloop 520 is in good condition and was last out of the water in 2022 for maintenance, including an antifouling treatment.
The boat is not registered, and although there are no permanent berths, this sloop is ideal for pleasure cruising on inland waterways. With its stability, high boards, reliability and space, the Fisher Sloop 520 offers a great experience on the water.
