The BM 16M2 open sailboat is a beautiful, enjoyable day sailor. She is a former racing boat, built by Kerkhoven and Jansma in Aalsmeer in 1965. Used for decades as a tour boat. She has a hull and deck of mahogany. In 2004 a thorough renovation took place. Some frames and part of the keel beam were renewed, part of the bottom was renewed as well as the keel. In 2020 the sails were renewed and the rigging was renewed. With the boat belongs a Damco trailer. This has been serviced in 2019 and the tires have been renewed.
