Specifications
Pneumatix is a unique and the first Lelievlet of 725 to be made sailing. Together with a very experienced sail and mast maker the owner realized his dream to build a small boat himself that had to meet his high expectations with the fine qualities of a flat bottomed vessel.
The boat is completely self-built of 4 mm sandblasted iron. The paint system is a 2 component system, from Sigma (commercial shipping). The lateral plan and the rigging has also been calculated and carried out in-house, in collaboration with Heineke Sailmakers of Loosdrecht and Brasker Mastenbouw of The Hague. The rigging and all woodwork is in a new condition. The vlet must be painted on the inside and outside. because of the sale this has not been done so everyone can use their own colors. if desired, the paint that is available can be included.
Pneumatix is a centerboard boat with the characteristics of a keel boat. The keel is 250 kg and with a winch to turn up. In shallows and before the wind very nice. The sails (mainsail 18.7 m2 / jib 7.5 m2 / jib 3.7 m2) provide more than enough sail area and backstays are necessary as with many flat-bottomed boats. Pneumatix listens carefully to her rudder which is also retractable and made of Mahogany just like the tiller. The professional mast, boom, gaff and bowsprit leave nothing to be desired in terms of reliability. The cable of the top lantern runs through the mast. The floor and all hatches are made of aluminum chequer plate. The boat is easy to maneuver, can take a beating, and can handle a lot of wind. With little wind it is nice that a beer crate fits in the centerboard case for a cold beer. Lowering the mast is done with the bowsprit. The bowsprit is also easy to fold backwards. There is a fore cabin and a aft cabin which are the actual air closets on a Lelieveld 560.
Included: Complete equipment. Fenders, mooring ropes, halyards, spuds, pole anchor, flag mast, pennant, various other items.
