The ship is a coffee deck cruiser. Built in 1950. It is a round bilge. 10 meters long and 10 tons. The ship has a reverse, fore cabin, wheelhouse and kitchen and toilet on board. The ship is riveted with now stakes decks and gangways. The superstructure is also made of steel. Engine wise she is in perfect condition. Reverse gear is also in very good condition.
The ship is designed by the grandfather of the owner. This ship is so strong that sometimes with wind force 8 on the Oosterschelde we sailed, but nothing happened. The ship has always been well maintained. Over the years a steel superstructure has been added and the decks have become steel.
Because this ship is a round bilge she will roll over waves. She sails great on both salt and fresh water. The ship can really take a beating. With her 10 tons of steel she is easy to maneuver. With current and wind she is easy to maneuver. Sailing on the Wadden Sea was no problem. In the lock you can easily lie on a middle and a front hawser. She will not react quickly to churning water. It is a mighty ship to sail and that for her age. The ship was last out of the water for maintenance and anti-fouling in 2019. Inside the woodwork needs to be repainted.
The ship is registered with the RDW.
