In the auction 'The Calypso', Friendship 26, a beautiful always well maintained cabin sailing yacht with excellent sailing characteristics. The boat is very suitable for vacations and weekends away because of the sleeping places on the boat. The boat sails fast and is comfortable as a cruiser. Everything can be controlled from the cockpit, there is also an autopilot. The stability is excellent. The shallow keel (1.40 meters) guarantees a large sailing area in the Netherlands.
Below decks there is sufficient accommodation for long vacations on the water. The boat has four berths; a double bed in the tip and two generous places in the cabin. The quality of the cushions is good because they are always stored dry. The coffee table is flexible to move. Furthermore, there is an underwater toilet, sink, and a pull-out galley.
The boat has always been tiptop maintained, looks neat, and has been out of the water every winter. Unfortunately, the engine is now defective. There is in May 2022 a beautiful new spray hood put on. In April 2022, the underwater hull in the antifouling put and there are new curtains hung inside and the benches in the cockpit are renewed.
