Specifications
The Zwemer 26 is a fast and well manoeuvrable boat. The boat is in good condition on April 25, 2020 the boat has been out of water as you can see on the first and last 2 pictures. The boat is completely painted and put in the antifouling by the owner.
The Zwemer 26 is an articulated truss model with a self-draining cockpit. The Engine and Electricity have been newly built in 2011. The engine now has 765 hours and works well.
The bare hull is made of bonded wood which is impregnated with diluted primer. On top of that an adhesive layer then 3 layers of polyester, then 2 layers of gell which becomes rock-hard. The finish is 3 layers 2 component primer, finally 3 layers 2 component varnish.
The Zwemer 26 is very suitable for day trips on the water or even a weekend trip. The Zwemer 26 is in fact equipped with full comfort, toilet, heating, cooker and sleeping surfaces to stay on the boat. Because the boat is quite shallow it can be used for trips on shallow waters. The mast on the boat can be lowered so that the vertical clearance is only 250 cm and the boat can easily pass under bridges.
