Janmor 700 – Motor Yacht with Functional Design and Practical Equipment
The Janmor 700 is a motor yacht from 2017, built with a focus on comfort, ease of use, and space utilization. With a length of 7.50 meters and a width of 2.90 meters, this vessel offers ample living space for families or small groups. The hull is made of polyester, contributing to a relatively low weight of approximately 2,500 kg and a low-maintenance construction. The boat is registered in Poland. Documentation such as the original invoice and manual are available.
Layout and Accommodation
The interior space of the Janmor 700 is designed with practical use in mind. The headroom inside is 2.00 meters, providing comfortable freedom of movement. The boat has four fixed berths, divided between a closed fore cabin and an open sleeping area midships. Additionally, an extra sleeping place can be created in the salon by converting the sofa into a bed.
The galley is equipped with a sink, cooking facilities, and a refrigerator. For extra comfort, there is a freezer available. The dining area can accommodate several people and is centrally located in the salon. The wet cell is equipped with a manual toilet, a washbasin, and a shower. The toilet discharge is connected to a 100-liter waste tank, allowing use on inland waters and nature areas. The water tank also has a capacity of 100 liters. For heating, there is a hot air heating system on board.
Engine and Sailing Characteristics
The Janmor 700 is equipped with a Yamaha outboard motor of 40 hp, with three cylinders and electric start. The engine is from the year 2006 and runs on gasoline. The fuel tank has a capacity of 70 liters. The boat has wheel steering from the interior. For extra maneuverability, there is an electric bow thruster, which facilitates maneuvering in harbors or when docking.
The hull is equipped with bilge keels, contributing to course stability and reducing rolling motions. Thanks to the shallow draft of 65 cm, it is possible to navigate shallow waters. The clearance height is 2.90 meters, making the boat suitable for use on lakes and canals with low bridges.
Electronics and Power Supply
The electrical installation on board consists of an alternator, battery charger, shore power connection, and a solar panel. There are three batteries available. The voltage on board is 12v and 220v. Navigation equipment includes a Garmin depth sounder, fishfinder, and GPS. A voltmeter and fuel gauge are also present.
Exterior Equipment and Safety
On deck, the Janmor 700 is equipped with a bimini for shade in the cockpit, a cockpit table, fenders and lines, a swim ladder, and a swim platform. The anchor is attached with a line and is operated with a manual windlass. For safety, there is a lifebuoy and an electric bilge pump for removing any bilge water.
Maintenance and Use
The last antifouling treatment was carried out in 2024. The boat was last taken out of the water in 2017. No signs of osmosis have been detected.
Summary
The Janmor 700 is a motor yacht with a functional layout, suitable for recreational use on inland waters. The combination of spacious living areas, practical amenities, and straightforward controls makes the vessel accessible to both novice and experienced water sports enthusiasts. Thanks to the low clearance height and shallow draft, the vessel is deployable in a wide range of sailing areas.
