Specifications
The Cruiser 700 is a steel motorboat from the year 1970. This vessel has a length of 7.00 meters and a width of 2.50 meters, making it suitable for use on inland waters such as lakes and rivers. With a draft of 50 cm and an air draft of 100 cm, the boat can easily pass under bridges and is accessible for various sailing areas. The interior space offers a headroom of 160 cm.
Construction and Material
The hull and superstructure of the Cruiser 700 are entirely made of steel. This material is known for its robustness. The boat is equipped with a single rudder and offers both inside and outside steering options, providing extra flexibility and control while sailing.
Motorization
The propulsion is provided by a Mitsubishi KG75 diesel engine. This engine is known for its solid construction and power. The motorization is suitable for leisurely trips on inland waters and makes the vessel maneuverable in narrow waterways.
Layout and Equipment
The interior of the Cruiser 700 offers a practical layout with possibilities for further optimization. A door is missing, and the cover over the engine is not present, which provides room for modifications. The dual steering position is a notable feature of this vessel, especially within this compact size. This allows for steering both inside and outside, depending on the weather conditions and the skipper's preference.
Maintenance and Condition
The boat is in a state of needing refurbishment and offers many possibilities for enthusiasts who wish to improve a vessel to their liking. There is no recent maintenance history known, and the last antifouling treatment is not documented. Therefore, further investigation into the condition of the hull and technical installations is recommended.
Usage and Suitability
The Cruiser 700 has been primarily used for day trips and recreational boating pleasure. Due to its compact dimensions, it is a maneuverable boat that is easy to handle on lakes and rivers.
The Cruiser 700 offers a solid foundation for water sports enthusiasts looking for a steel motorboat with customization possibilities. The combination of a Mitsubishi KG75 diesel engine and dual steering makes it a versatile choice for recreational use.
