The ship with headroom everywhere can be converted into a houseboat or clubhouse and is already partly in a CAD drawing made by an architect. This can be seen in one of the documents.
In 2016 the ship received an engine overhaul, a new generator and a complete overhaul at the shipyard and put in the antifouling. In the end, the then company made little use of this former tanker and the ship has been at a standstill since 2017. After that the ship came from Hamburg to the Netherlands and at this border crossing it was necessary to remove all waste materials. The ship, including the hold, was completely cleaned of hazardous materials. The industrial pumps etc. are still in place. The boat was last out of the water in 2016 for antifouling treatment.
A few months ago, a sister ship in Amsterdam received an approval and a permit from the welfare state to be converted into a houseboat. This concerns the coaster Sathurn, in the enclosures two drawings by the architect. The expectation is that the Nordertor may become a variant of this fantastic design, if the dimensions of the berth (this is not included!) allow this.
