The Pygmalion is a stylish suitcase deck cruiser from the Kruiser brand, with a length of 1,000 feet, a width of 300 feet and a draft of 100 feet. Built in 1950, this boat is made of sturdy steel, giving it a solid and reliable appearance. With four permanent berths and six additional berths, the boat offers enough accommodation for a comfortable stay.
The boat is in good condition and has been regularly maintained. The last maintenance and antifouling treatment took place in 2020. There are no traces of osmosis, indicating the good condition of the hull. However, there is one known defect, which is that the mast at the bottom needs to be glued down.
Designed by the owner himself, the Pygmalion has a classic round bilge hull shape. Steering is done with a steering wheel from the interior, and the boat is powered by a working Lombardini engine rated at 45 hp. With a maximum speed of 20 knots, this boat is suitable for pleasure cruising on inland waterways, ponds, rivers and lakes.
As for accommodation, the boat is equipped with a dining area, pillows, mattresses, curtains, a stove and a refrigerator. There is also a television, as well as plenty of tools, a folding table and a GPS. Although there is no hot water, there is a hot-air heater for heating and a standpipe heater for hot and cool air. The water tank has a 200-liter capacity, while the holding tank has a 2000-liter capacity. The toilet is manual and the toilet drains directly into the open water.
In terms of electronics and navigation, the boat is equipped with a VHF radio and a GPS. Three batteries are provided, and the boat has electricity via an inverter, solar panel and shore power. Plenty of outlets are available, and the voltage includes 24V and 220V.
Exterior equipment on the boat includes an anchor with chain attachment and a hand anchor winch. Also provided are fenders and lines, davits and a side railing.
As for safety, there are life jackets and a fire extinguisher on board. The bilge pump is electric and takes care of draining water from the boat.
