Maaskruiser 850 now in the online auction. Everyone can bid until January 19, 2026.
Layout and Comfort Onboard
Inside the Maaskruiser 850, you will find a functional and clear layout. The headroom of approximately 1.90 meters in the cabin ensures a pleasant stay onboard. The aft cabin contains two fixed berths, while the dinette in the galley can easily be converted into an additional double bed. This allows the boat to accommodate a total of four people. The bow is equipped with a manual toilet, and there is plenty of storage space in the various cabinets and storage compartments.
The galley is equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and freezer, allowing you to be self-sufficient even on longer trips. The compressor refrigerator is energy-efficient and is supported by a solar panel on the sliding hatch, contributing to the autonomy of the electrical system. The available inventory makes it possible to set off immediately for a relaxing cruise.
Engine and Sailing Characteristics
The Maaskruiser 850 is equipped with a Mercedes OM636 diesel engine with a power of 40 hp. This four-cylinder inboard engine is electrically started and has an average fuel consumption of approximately 2 to 3 liters per hour. With a cruising speed of about 7 km/h and a maximum speed of 10 km/h, this motorboat is extremely suitable for leisurely trips on inland waters. The engine has approximately 600 operating hours and is fed by a 200-liter diesel tank, providing a wide range.
The hull is of the round bilge type, contributing to a stable position in the water. Steering is done via a steering wheel from the inside position. The boat is equipped with instruments such as a fuel tank gauge, oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge, and tachometer, making navigation clear and safe.
Equipment and Technical Facilities
The Maaskruiser 850 is equipped with various technical facilities that enhance the stay onboard. In addition to the solar panel, the boat has a battery charger, alternator, voltmeter, and two batteries. The electric bilge pump contributes to onboard safety. Navigation aids such as an autopilot and radar are present, facilitating navigation on larger waters.
On deck, you will find a cockpit tent, fenders, lines, a swim ladder, and a swim platform. The stainless steel equipment, including railings, bollards, cleats, and hatches, gives the boat a robust appearance and increases durability. An anchor with a line is present, although a windlass is missing.
Possibilities and Potential
This Maaskruiser 850 offers a solid foundation for those looking for a characterful motorboat with room for personal adjustments. The boat was out of the water for maintenance on the underwater hull and hull in 2023. The superstructure and deck were addressed earlier, in 2021 and 2020, respectively. The ship's floor has been renewed, contributing to the comfort and appearance of the interior.
There are some points of attention, such as moisture that has affected the woodwork, painting, rust treatment, and the absence of a cover. However, these aspects also offer opportunities for the handy DIY enthusiast or enthusiast who wants to finish the boat to their liking.
