The 1990 Bayliner 2455 Ciera Sunbridge is a sporty and functional motorboat with a length of 7.30 meters and a width of 2.40 meters. This fiberglass cruiser is designed for recreational use on inland waters and offers a combination of comfort, space, and practical amenities for day trips or short stays on board. The boat is registered with the RDW, and VAT has been paid.
Layout and Interior
The Bayliner 2455 features a well-thought-out layout with a headroom of approximately 1.95 meters in the cabin, providing a spacious feel inside. The boat offers sleeping accommodations for four people, divided between a fixed aft cabin with a double bed and a convertible dinette that serves as an additional sleeping area. This makes the boat suitable for couples or small families who wish to stay overnight on board.
The interior space is equipped with a compact yet complete galley with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and hot water. The presence of an electric toilet system with a closed drainage system adds to the comfort and eco-friendliness of the boat. Additionally, there is a shower, making the stay on board more pleasant during multi-day trips.
Outdoor Space and Equipment
The cockpit of the Bayliner 2455 is spaciously designed and offers ample seating for multiple people. The cockpit table allows for outdoor dining or relaxing with family and friends. The cockpit tent provides protection against sun and rain, ensuring the outdoor deck remains usable even in less favorable weather conditions. At the rear, there is a swim platform with a swim ladder, facilitating easy entry and exit from the water.
The boat is equipped with a manual anchor winch and an anchor with line attachment. For safety and mooring, fenders and lines are available. The guardrail around the deck enhances safety on board, especially when moving over the deck during sailing or docking.
Technical Specifications and Motorization
The Bayliner is equipped with an OMC inboard gasoline engine with a power of 260 hp, distributed over 8 cylinders. The engine is electrically started. However, the engine is currently not operational due to a cooling water issue where water has entered the crankcase. This is an important consideration for potential buyers who are considering overhauling or replacing the engine.
The boat has two batteries and is equipped with a battery charger, alternator, inverter, and shore power connection. The electrical installation operates on 220V, allowing the use of household appliances on board. An electric bilge pump ensures the removal of any bilge water present.
Maintenance and Condition
The boat was last taken out of the water for maintenance in 2024. The antifouling treatment was carried out in 2023. No signs of osmosis have been observed. The hull is made of fiberglass, a material known for its durability and low maintenance.
