The La Balena is a unique, handcrafted Glen-L Riviera type wooden speedboat. With its classic lines and striking wood finish, this boat exudes timeless elegance and craftsmanship. Measuring 7.20 meters in length and 2.50 meters in width, the La Balena is designed for fast, luxury cruising. Built in 2020, the boat was first launched for testing in 2024. Thanks to the protective epoxy coating around the wooden frame, maintenance requires less intensive care than other traditional wooden boats.
Under the hood is a powerful, working OMC inboard engine with 130 hp and 8 cylinders, good for a top speed of 65 mph. The thick V8 sound makes for an impressive cruising experience. Although the boat has no berths or plumbing, she is equipped with comfortable seat cushions and mattresses for a pleasant stay on board. Steering is via an outside steering wheel, which keeps the driver in contact with the water at all times.
