The Kajuitzeilschip 25 was built in Heerenveen in 1918. It is a classic wooden ship that needs an owner who can handle wood and sails well. At the moment the boat needs the necessary attention. The hull of this tower rigged sailing ship is made of solid oak, polyester lined around 1970 and renovated around 2000. The original lattice deck is fiberglass reinforced and again finished as a plate deck in 2005. Kiel and rudder were replaced around 2010. The old roof is removed at the moment, the original rafters + (handmade replacements) are ready for rebuilt. The engine box is made of solid oak and dates from 1995. The Kajuitzeilschip 25 has beautiful stained glass cabin doors. At the moment the current owner is not able to finish the restoration. At the moment the boat is already 6 years in a shed due to work. The cabin sailing ship 25 will give the next owner many years of job and sailing pleasure.
