The Bruijs 1350 is a ship built for eternity due to its very heavy steel hull (7 mm). The Freedom's central box keel in combination with the bilge keels allows her to dry perfectly. She is extremely suitable for tidal waters/ harbors and the Wadden Sea.
Bruijs Jachtbouw from bergen op Zoomn was founded in 1957. Cees Bruijs founded Bruijs jachtbouw and specialized in building steel motor yachts. As a yacht building company they know their classics.
Additional Information
- Known defects: the Freedom really needs some maintenance especially on deck and equipment as well as a paint job. The batteries are defective and the teak deck needs to be re-rubbed. (Due to some minor leaks.)
- The boat has not been sailed for two years.
- The Freedom was last out of the water in 2017 for maintenance and anti-fouling.
